Discover Snorkeling with Outdoor Parntnership and Adventure Carrick! 

Working with the Outdoor Partnership, we are delighted to support the launch of the South Ayrshire Snorkel Trail with a series of introductory sessions over the summer.  Sessions will be delivered by the Adventure Carrick team, who co-developed the snorkel trail with the Scottish Wildlife Trust and a range of partners, including  South Ayrshire Councils Destination South Ayrshire, the National Trust for Scotland’s Culzean Country Park, the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere and the Rubbish Paddlers.

What is Snorkeling? 🤿

Snorkelling allows you to glimpse the flora, fauna, colours and creatures of the underwater world. It’s an ever-changing landscape rich in biodiversity. As well as being magical, snorkelling shares many of the benefits of wild swimming. It’s a great boost for physical and mental health and, in shallow, sheltered spots, is easily accessible for all the family!

This session will take place at Maidens. 

Snorkelling access is available through a narrow path in the harbour car park, leading to a secluded sandy cove behind the harbour wall. 

Please Note

All participants must be at least 10 years old and be confident swimmers. All snorkeling equipment is provided.
