📅 Tournament Dates

• Start Date: Sunday 26th April 2026
• Finals Day: Sunday 7th June 2026 (all finals will be played on this day)

• Ladies’ Singles
• Men’s Doubles
• Ladies’ Doubles
• Mixed Doubles

Juniors competing in club ladders are welcome to enter. Standard supervision/accompaniment rules apply.

📆 Match Scheduling

• Each round will have a “Play By Date”
• Matches must be completed by this deadline
• Players are responsible for:
  • Contacting opponents
  • Arranging match times
  • Booking courts
• The club is not responsible for:
  • Weather disruptions
  • Court availability near deadlines
• Failure to complete a match may result in a walkover, unless:
  • There are exceptional circumstances, and
  • Both players agree and the organiser approves
• Players must make reasonable and timely efforts to arrange matches
• Players should be flexible, including evenings and weekends

🎾 Match Format

• Matches are Best of 3 Sets
• If tied at 1 set all, the final set is a 10-point match tie-break

🎾 Balls

• Players must supply their own balls
• Wilson Trinity balls are recommended
• Players are expected to use new or nearly new balls to avoid disputes

⏱ Warm-Up & Court Usage

• Warm-up is limited to 10 minutes
• Court time is limited — please be considerate
• Booking Rule:
  Booking consecutive courts under different names is not permitted and may be cancelled by the club

📣 Results

• Results must be submitted to the organiser on the same day the match is played

🌱 Seeding

• Seedings will be based on:
  • Club ladder positions
  • Equivalent playing standards

⚖️ Rules & Disputes

• Standard Tennis rules apply
• In the event of a line call dispute, the point must be replayed
• Any disputes will be decided by the tournament organiser, whose decision is final

🚫 Walkovers & Withdrawals

• A walkover may be awarded where a player fails to make a reasonable effort to play
• If a player withdraws after completing a match, their opponent will not automatically progress (organiser decision applies)

👥 Doubles Rules

• Substitutions are not permitted after the first round
• Any substitution (where allowed) requires organiser approval

⚠️ Finals Commitment

• Players who cannot commit to Finals Day (June 7th) should not enter the competition
