About Us
Introduction
The Society was founded in April 1977 through the inspiration of Ray Williams, a committed Christian Spiritualist who remained as chairman until December 2020.
Ray was born in West Wales and followed the religion all his life. His work for the Spirit spanned more than 50 years! In that time, he did everything possible to steer the Society in the right direction.
Ray was also the President of the Gateway Christian Spiritualist Church. A service to which he dedicated his time for over 40 years. The Society regards the Church as its sanctuary.
What is the Society?
The Society is an affiliation of Churches, Centres, Groups and Healing Sanctuaries practising Christian Spiritualism.
How is the Society managed?
The Healer Practitioner Association International (HPAI) is a subsidiary charity of the Christian Spiritualist Society International (CSSI).
Both charities are run by trustees and an elected group of members who form a management team comprising of:
- Chairperson
- Vice Chairperson
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Administrator
- AGM
The Societies AGM is held in September each year.
