Churchill Track

Please make sure that you read and understand the following information before you make your booking:

Organised Groups

No organised groups, clubs or commercial users are permitted to use the track without prior authorisation.
Any affiliated athletics club that would like to train at this site must contact North Shields Polytechnic Athletics Club directly by emailing trustees@nspoly.org
The grassed area and equipment (field events) are strictly out of bounds, only the track can be used.

Import Information

• Please avoid the use of lane 1 and 2 where possible to preserve the life of the track.
• No cross country or long spikes can be worn at any time.
• Do not leave any personal belongings on the track, there will be no changing areas or safe storage facilities for any personal items. Please come dressed ready for your session.
• No Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards or Dogs are permitted.
• One slot per person must be booked.  

How to book

To book your session, please register, click on the 'Book Now' tab at the top of the page.  Select the day and time slot that you would like to book.  This will generate a personal access code valid for the day and time of your booking only.  On arrival at the track for your session, insert your personal access code into keypad lock which will unlock the gate. This is only valid on the community gate which is nearest the carpark. The code will allow you in 10 mins before your session and will be invalid after your time slot. 

Please Note: PIN codes become active 5 minutes before the booking until the end of the booking. If you use the PIN outside of this time, then it will not work. i.e A 9 AM booking, the PIN will work from 8:55 AM.
