Welcome to Dunboyne Tennis Club

Dunboyne Tennis Club was founded in 1979 in Dunboyne where tennis was originally played in the car park of Dunboyne Primary School. When the new Community Centre in Dunboyne opened, the club rented the tennis courts there on an ad hoc basis. In 1994, the club acquired its own existing site in Clonee village. The existing building was made into a clubhouse and three hard courts were soon added to the site. The club is constantly striving to improve, update and maintain the facilities it currently enjoys. The hard courts were soon upgraded to a more modern synthetic surface, allowing play to commence all year round. A fourth synthetic surface tennis court was added later in 1996 along with a practice wall. In 2009, the club officially opened a new, modern and unique clubhouse, including a large 1st floor balcony which overlooks the tennis courts. Dunboyne Tennis Club now boasts modern facilities for tennis players in the large catchment area to avail of. We are a warm and friendly club that welcomes everyone interested in playing and enjoying the sport of tennis.
