Five of the clubs the athletes competed in this  very popular local event hosted at the Holmepierre Point. The Half iron Outlaw is made up of a 1900m Swim 90K Bike and 21.9k Run and is a real test of endurance. 

Our athletes placed well once again. 

Bohdan Davyd  4:55:46 -194 out of 1270, 32nd out of 134 M30-34 age group 

Mark Berry 5:41:16 -604 out of 1270, 81st of of 166 M45-49 age group 

Claire Armstrong  5:31:32 516 out 1270, 4th out of 53 F45-49 age group 

Sophie Hunt  6:04:46 - 855 out of 1270, 17th out of 43 F40-44 age group

Anna Littlecott  6:15:38 944 out of 1270, 24th out of 53 F45-49 age group 

The course was slightly different than in previous years with transition areas being exceptionally long adding to longer transition times. 

But there were still some big PB's from some. Well done to them all  on a tough cool day for racing.
