Notes from the coach
This energising 6-mile circuit takes you out into the peaceful rural South Ayrshire countryside on a walk to Kildoon Hill, including the short and rewarding climb to the summit obelisk - a local landmark which can be seen for miles around! Perfect for a day out exploring the natural beauty of the area and learning about Maybole's rich heritage.
Grade: Moderate - 459ft ascent/descent. Several stiles, chance of cows and sheep. Pavements, surfaced minor roads, rough farm tracks, grassy fields, grassy hillside.

Starts/ends at Maybole Train Station - 6 miles
Bring water and a packed lunch, wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather forecast.
Suitable for age 14 (children must be accompanied by an adult). No Dogs
