Enjoy a beautiful coastal and countryside journey as we walk from Maybole to Dunure using the hill path that connects both communities. This 10 km linear route offers a mix of farmland tracks, gentle hill paths, and sweeping open views across the Ayrshire coast. After a short bus transfer from Ayr to Maybole, the walk begins with a gradual climb on a well‑established path, giving panoramic views back over the Carrick countryside. As we make our way towards the coast, the route opens up to dramatic vistas of Culzean Bay, Ailsa Craig, and the ruins of Dunure Castle in the distance.   Final section descents toward Dunure.
