Straiton Trails: The Monument and Bennan Circuit (7 km / 4.5 miles).  This scenic circular walk starts from the charming village of Straiton and climbs gently through woodlands and open hillsides to reach the summit of Bennan Hill. Along the way, you'll pass the impressive Monument dedicated to Sir James Hunter-Blair, offering panoramic views over the Ayrshire countryside.  A rewarding mix of forest paths and open moorland with rich wildlife and interesting history along the way.

This walk inculdes a bus pick up and drop off. The bus will collect walkers from Morrisons car park across from Ayr Train Station. Pick up is 10am and drop off is 2pm.
