Notes from the coach

Come join us on our winter hikes. Next up is one of the many trails in and around Dailly. This walk is approximately 5.5 km. Once we’ve crossed the Water of Girvan, we will take in the views of the old and new Dalquharran Castle ruins.

This woodland walk is on newly levelled paths. Some areas can get muddy, but as far as nature hikes go, this route is nicely levelled with slight undulation but nothing too steep. Expect fantastic views of rural South Ayrshire.

This walk is dog friendly. Dogs must be kept on a short handheld lead (no flexi leads).

There is no designated car park; parking is steet parking.

We will meet across the road from Dailly Primary School at the sign post titled 'Dalquarrhan Walks'

Walk will start at 10:30 and last approximately 90 minutes.
