Pay and Play costs

• Please email us at info@goodwinttc.co.uk if you are interested in coming down to play and we can let you know about available sessions and talk through the best options for you.
• Please make sure you have contacted us first before coming down so we can ensure one of our committee members is present to let you in and that someone will be down for you to play against, otherwise just turning up might mean the doors are locked and you can’t get in.
• We don’t charge for the first couple of visits while you are new and assessing if you like it and it’s what you are looking for.
• We then charge £5 a session/visit for adults and £3 a session for juniors (under 18’s) after the initial couple of free visits, apart from Thursday nights, see info below, because we offer coaching on Thursdays too.
• We have a handful of bats and balls we can lend you if you don’t have them. We also have links with some of the leading Table Tennis Equipment suppliers in the country and if are then interested in buying one we can offer advice as to what might suit you and may be able to get your some discount.
• One of our coaches has a small stock of excellent beginners/intermediate bats, with bat cases, available for £20, again just ask about these.

Open sessions for beginners:

Daytime – Monday and Thursday

• We have two popular Over 50’s sessions (although one of two are slightly younger, we are not that strict) that run Monday and Thursday’s 1:30 to 3:30pm.
• Free for the first couple of visits
• £5 per adult per session after that. Pay our committee member on the day, no need to book.
• There are usually 15 to 20 players down each session, so plenty of opportunity to join in and play some games. All standards welcome beginners to experienced players.

Sunday morning

• We have a popular Sunday morning session 10am to 12 noon.
• Again free first couple of weeks then £5per adult and £3 per child(under 18) per week.
• Again usually 10 to 15 players down each week that you can join in and play against. All standards welcome beginners to experienced players.
• Pay our committee member on the day.

Thursday evening

• We run a kids session followed by an adults beginners/coaching session most Thursday nights.
• Kids session runs 6 to 7pm  (usual age 7 to 12 year olds)
• Adults, and older kids, we run beginners and regular players coaching session 7:30 to 9pm.
• Both these sessions members and coaches will be present to offer help and support and advice and coaching expertise to help you improve.
• Kids session is £3 per kid for the hour
• Adults and older kids for the 7:30 to 9pm session is £5 each for non-members, £3 for members.
• We have a handful of bats and balls we can lend you for free in these sessions.
