The Big Bobble Hats Bishopbriggs Triathlon will be held on Sunday April 27th at the Bishopbriggs Leisuredrome with a pool swim, a closed-roads bike course, and a canal path run.  The event is ideal for new triathletes as well as seasoned competitors.

UPDATE - 18/04/25

To take part in any triathlon event sanctioned by British Triathlon (BT) you must have third party public liability insurance.

You will have this insurance if you are a member of Triathlon Scotland (TS) or Triathlon England (TE) or Triathlon Wales (TW). If so, you don't need to do anything.

OR you will have it because you purchased a BTracepass for the event when signing up for this race. It will have been added automatically to your race entry if you said you were not a member of TS, TE or TW. If so, then you don't need to do anything.

If you said you were a member of TS, TE or TW but are now not a member i.e. maybe you have not renewed your membership for 2025 or you were mistaken that you had membership, then you will need to purchase a racepass. As all membership numbers will be checked before the race.
