Welcome to Posties Park Athletics Track Facility

Please make sure that you read and understand the following information before you make your booking:

• One slot per person must be booked and it is prohibited for anyone to let others into the facility who do not have a booking. 
• All users must adhere to the Scottish Athletics Etiquette Guidance at all times to ensure the safety of themselves and others. The etiquette for using Posties Park Athletics Track can be viewed here. 
• No clubs, organised groups or commercial users are permitted to use the track without prior authorisation.
• Any athletics club, organised group or commercial user that would like to book space at the facility for group training purposes must contact West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust directly by emailing leisureservicesadmin@west-dunbarton.gov.uk
• The grassed area and equipment (field events) are strictly out of bounds and can only be used by clubs with qualified coaches. Only the track can be used by general users and groups.
• No cross country or long spikes can be worn at any time.
• Do not leave any personal belongings on the track.
• No Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards are permitted.
• No dogs are permitted.

How to book

To make a booking select Register at the top right hand side of this page.  Select the day and time slot that you would like to book.  This will generate a personal access code valid for the day and time of your booking only.  You are able to book up to 14 days in advance. On arrival at the track for your session, insert your personal access code into keypad lock which will unlock the gate. The access gate is located at the Dumbarton Castle/south side of the facility, near the car park.

The code will allow you in 10 minutes before your session and will be invalid after your time slot. i.e. for a 6pm booking, the PIN will work from 5.50pm until 7pm. The code will not work outwith these time slots.

Your code also controls the floodlights, which will come on ten minutes before your session and ten minutes after.
