King of the Courts – Pickleball Tournament!

🕗 Time: 8 AM – 4 PM | Low Intermediate 8 AM - 12PM | High Intermediate 12 PM - 4PM

This is a DUPR-rated event, and DUPR ratings will be verified as of the sign-up date
Low Intermediate: Max combined team DUPR is 10.5 | Max DUPR per player: 3.80
High Intermediate: Max combined team DUPR is 12 | Max DUPR per player is 4.30

Every team plays a match against another team on their court.
Games go up to 15 points, using rally scoring (you get a point on every rally — no need to serve to score).
You only need to win by 1 point (e.g. 15–14).
After each game, the winning team moves up to a higher court, and the losing team moves down to a lower court.
The goal is to reach the top court — the “KING COURT” — and stay there as long as possible!
The team on the King Court at the end of the day is crowned the King of the Court! 👑
🕐 Game Format
Each round = one quick game to the team that reaches 15 points first (approx 10 min per round)
Up to 20 rounds will be played throughout the event.
2 players are on court while 1 player rests each round.
Players can play a maximum of 3 games in a row, then must rotate out for the next round before coming back in.
Teams manage their own player rotation between games.
🏆 Winning:
The team occupying Court 12 at the end of 20 rounds will be declared the King of the Courts
💡 If There Are Fewer Than 24 Teams - No problem!
We’ll just use fewer courts, but the same rules apply.
Winners still move up, losers move down.
There will always be a King Court at the top.
Everyone keeps playing new teams throughout the day — lots of fun and variety!
