Court Club Rules

Please find below the rules which must be followed when using Boyle Communiy Tennis Club facilities.

Court Booking

As a member when you book a court, (and bring a guest along), you agree to abide by the following club rules:

  1.   The courts are for club members and invited guests only.
  2.   The club maintains an equality and diversity policy which requires that everyone is treated fairly and with respect, and that members, non-members and visitors are not denied access to the club because of a discriminatory reason.
  3.   Court booking is recommended and is available through our ClubSpark club management system. Priority for play will be given to pre booked courts.
  4.   Court rules when playing:
  •  clean runners must be worn at all times
  • no smoking
  • no chewing gum
  • no eating / food on the courts

        5.  No dogs allowed.

        6.  Courts must be used for tennis playing only – no wheels, bikes, skates or rollerblades allowed on the courts.

        7.  Members and invited guests must leave the court area tidy after use.  PLEASE: No water bottles or litter should be left at the courts as the club has NO bin service.

        8.  Members must not lend their fobs to non-members. Anyone found doing so would face disciplinary action from the club.

        9.  The committee advise parents / guardians from a child protection standpoint that juniors playing tennis should be supervised. No unaccompanied juniors can use the clubhouse.

       10.  Non-member guests accompanying a member may play up to three sessions per year at a cost of €5 per session.  This fee is to be paid through the Clubspark system when booking the court.

        11.  Country membership or Holiday membership at a rate of €25 can also be offered to people either living greater than 30km from Boyle or visiting Boyle for a short stay.

        12.  Responsibility for guest fees will rest with the member concerned.

         13.  The courts can be booked for events or group/private coaching directly through the coach/committee on the ClubSpark app.

         14.  Priority will be given to official club matches which will be displayed in advance on the notice board.

         15.  The committee reserve the right to cancel members court bookings in the unlikely event that it is necessary due to conflicting club activities.
