We are affiliated with Cycling Time Trails (CTT) and a large proportion of the club membership take part in our cycling sessions and also regularly compete in time trial events, both those organised by 1485 and other clubs. Training & Organised Club Ride Sessions

We have organised rides twice a week, leaving from the Market Bosworth Sports Club.

• Tuesdays - Leaving the sports club at 18:30, we cycle a regular route, just under 25 miles. This is typically the faster of our two weekly rides and there will be groups organised to suit all abilities.
• Saturdays - Leaving the sports club at 09:30, we cycle a different local route each week, typically artound 25 miles. This is a more social ride but still will multiple groups to allow everyone to cycle at pace their comfortable with.
• Saturdays - During the summer months we have  'Early Riser' social rides, starting at 8.30am from the Club House. These rides are usually around 40miles

Club Time Trial Leagues

We run two competitions for members cycling time trial results. All results are based on the club's 4.5-mile and 10-mile TT events. 

• 3-Star TT Trophy - Fastest combined 2 x 10-Mile TT's and 1 x 4.5-Mile TT. All times are age and sex handicaped based on VTTA adjustements. Awards for both female and male winners.
• Handicap Trophy - Set an average time in your first two TTs. Then set a faster time across the rest of the season. The biggest improver wins.

Club 10-Mile and 4.5-Mile TTs

Our club time trials are usually open to anyone who is a member of a Cycling Time Trials (CTT) affiliated club. They are probably the easiest way to start racing and can just be used as a good training session. The riders taking part cover a varied range of abilities so you’ll always have someone of a similar level to compete against.
