Westport Tennis club's Bangor Trail Challenge 2021 Fundraiser was a fantastic success. With over 30 participants hiking the 25km along the Bangor Trail  through he Nephin Beg wilderness from Bangor to  Letterkeen bothy. The Bangor Trail is an old road through the Nephin Beg mountains in north-west Mayo. It used to be the main route from Bangor to Newport, dating back to the 16th Century.

Thankfully all the participants made it through without majot incident and the club raised some much needed funds to help the cost of building a third court.
