Introduction: Portadown Tennis Club has successfully secured funding to replace the surfaces of tennis courts 1 and 2, which have exceeded their serviceable lifespan and are in urgent need of renewal.

Project Description: The project involves replacing of two astroturf tennis courts located within Edenvilla Park, Portadown. Tender submissions are sought for the following:

• Replacement of both courts with artificial clay, ITF classified court pace 1

Scope of Work: The scope encompasses the following work packages:

1. Removal and disposal of existing carpet and sand infill, thorough power washing of the current bitmac base, and necessary preparatory remediation including assessment of court porosity and drainage
2. Supply and installation of the new court surface, inclusive of all required infill material
3. Replacement of ground sockets for net posts and anchors
4. Provision of a maintenance plan tailored to the new court surface
5. Supply of suitable maintenance equipment if not already available to Portadown Tennis Club

Technical Specifications: The new surfaces must adhere to all relevant ITF regulations as follows:

• Compliance with ITF total court dimensions for doubles play
• Adherence to ITF marking requirements for doubles courts
• Certification by ITF for approved surface classifications and recognised courts 2026 guidelines
• For artificial clay surfaces: terracotta or brick red colour scheme

Timeline: The project is scheduled to commence prior to the end of March 2026 and must be completed no later than 31st April 2026.

Budget: The maximum budget allocated for this project is £40,000, inclusive of VAT and all remedial works, and maintenance equipment required for the new surfaces.

Submission Requirements: Responding companies are requested to provide references for comparable completed projects as well as a detailed quotation itemised according to the specified work packages detailed under scope of work.
