NOTICE OF PADEL INFORMATION MEETING

A Padel information meeting will be held at the clubhouse on 17 July 2024 to present a proposal to install 2 Padel courts in the club.   The presentation will be followed by a discussion to allow members provide opinions, suggestions, and general feedback.   It is proposed to hold an EGM on 31 July to seek member approval to proceed with the project.    

A Padel Committee was formed at the 2024 AGM and has now completed all the preliminary investigations in relation to the installation of Padel at LLTC.    The committee have established a dedicated email for the project which members can contact with any queries - lltcpadel@outlook.com.   

All presentation and Q&A material will be available to view in the clubhouse from next week. 

An online link will be available for this meeting to accommodate members unable to attend in person. 

This is a substantial development for the club and as such, it is important that it has the support of the members.  It is also important that members attend the information meeting and air their views, whether positive or negative.  

The Management Committee are excited about this proposed new venture, but we would like the membership to be on board every step of the way.  

Showers

A new water pump is being installed on the 10th and 11th of July.  There will be no hot showers available in the club on those days.  Should be available the evening of the 11th if all goes to plan.
