Lots of news this week, so take a break and have a read:-
TENNIS NEWS
Court Fees
With failing daylight in the late afternoon the floodlights are now needed from 16.30 on the tennis courts. With this in mind, the off peak charge of €4.00, will be implemented from tomorrow. If you have booked a court, it may be automatically cancelled, so please rebook.
Reminder
All courts need to have a booking.
Lights cannot be used without a booking.
All guests must be booked onto court bookings.
9pm slots must be booked.
Please make sure to turn off the lights after your booking.

Grade 2 ladies 1/3 to Ballinlough
Grade 3 ladies 1/3 against Kinsale but are through to the knockout stages so congratulations.
Grade 4 Ladies 2/2 against Kinsale
Grade 4 men lost 0/4 to St Michaels.
Grade 6 men won 3/1 to Clonakilty.
Grade 6 ladies lost 0/4 to a strong Nenagh Team.

Finals night is on the 29th of November, we also want to invite all of our winners this year to a celebration at the club! Please make sure you bring your cup or shield for all the winter league & summer cup winners for pictures please. It is time to celebrate the hard work!

SQUASH NEWS
PJ Carter Memorial Cup
Fantastic to see so many entries for the PJ Carter Memorial Cup which takes place on Sunday November 24th from 3pm to 6pm.
This event is open to all levels and we are trying to encourage as many beginners as possible to enter this event as it will give you a great opportunity to play competitive squash as a member of a team.
The format will be team of 4 players and we will ensure to match everyone up against players of a similar level. All points will go towards the team’s final result.

Junior Squash Coaching Program – 3-Week beginners pre-Christmas sessions
Calling all young squash enthusiasts! We’re excited to launch a new 3-week junior coaching program designed to help players develop their skills, improve their game, and have fun on the court. This is a beginners introduction to squash program.
Duration: 3 consecutive weeks
Dates & Time: 30th Nov, 7th Dec & 14th Dec
9.30 am to 10.15 am age 6 to 10
10.30 am to 11.15 am age 10 to 16
Location : LLTC Squash facility
Cost: €10 per class, Club Spark link for register will be added to social media this week
Program Details: Skill Development: Our sessions will cover fundamental skills like footwork, shot techniques, tailored to the age and skill level of each player.
Group Format: Players will be grouped by age and skill level to ensure a positive, supportive experience for everyone.
The junior squash programme will resume as normal with 5 week coaching blocks from January
Massive home win for LLTC Division 4 team in the Munster Leagues
A great win at home for our Division 4 team against Killarney Squash club last night. With every player winning their match this puts LLTC in pole position for a semi-final spot.
Wining 5-0 on the night, LLTC have one fixture left next Wednesday away to Ennis and a win will ensure that we top the group
The team was Chris Adams, Tomaz Kowalewski, Daniel O’Regan, Michael Sheehy and John Healy.

LLTC Squash Box Leagues
This is the last few days to get your box league matches played before the start of the new box league cycle.
Antone who has not played a match during this cycle will not be included in the next round.
The next box league will go live on Monday November 18th, please email squash@lltc.ie if you wish to be included

Sunday Social Squash
Sunday social is becoming a firm favourite with our members and it was great to see another very large turnout on Sunday.
If you're looking to gather for friendly matches or get your box league matches played, dropping in every Sunday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM is a great plan.
Don't forget to check the WhatsApp poll on Friday to confirm your attendance
