TENNIS NEWS

Winter League Phase 1

Limerick Lawn’s Winter League Phase 1 campaign ended at the weekend when Grade 3 Ladies Doubles lost a closely contested semi-final to Clonakilty, 3-1.

Hard luck to the team but well done to Carol (Capt.), Breifne, Marie, Valerie and Brenda for having had an amazing run to the semis!

Winter League Phase 2 Mixed Doubles

This is still in the round robin stage, and two LLTC teams were involved last weekend:

Grade 2 XD beat Mallow 3-1, and Grade 6 XD Green beat Fountainstown Blue 4-0.

These are fantastic results and well done to everyone involved!

The fixtures for this weekend are both on Sunday 16th February:

XD5 Green vs Bandon        @12pm

XD5 Blue vs Ennis Blue      @10am

They are both home matches so all support is greatly welcome!

The Community WhatsApp Group is up and running for LLTC news, and is a great way for keeping up with all events in the club.

Spring Doubles!

Easter Camp

The Club will hold a juniors Easter Camp from 22 – 25 April.  It’s suitable for children aged 6-14 and will run from 9am to 12 noon.  Booking will be available through Clubspark or the website next week.

 

Membership Subs

Anyone not paying by the instalment option has until the end of February to renew their membership.  Ebooking accounts will be deactivated the beginning of March, if fees remain outstanding.

Men’s Changing Room

The lost property locker in the men’s changing room will be emptied on Monday.  If you are missing items have  a look before then as when they are gone, they are gone!!
