Hard Luck to our Ladies Grade 4 team who lost to Killaloe last weekend. They had a super competitive game and were narrowly defeated.

 

Our Grade 3 Ladies are up next against Nenagh in Nenagh.

 

Coaching

 

We have had a huge response to the coaching programme with 90 bookings so far. Make sure to book in your spot today as some courses have filled already and others are nearing capacity.

 

We do have a waitlist in place and we will try our best to bring more on line if we can. It will be a huge year for coaching.

 

We also have a cardio course coming on line in January - dates will be released soon. We all know how quick that sells out so once they are gone they are gone :) 

 

Christmas Party for the adults then is on the 19th....

 

 

Thursday Ladies Group

 

The ladies of the Thursday Tennis group enjoyed a great finishing up morning last week for 2024.

 

Over 25 ladies both played and enjoyed some homemade treats afterwords.

 

The Thursday group caters for all standards of players and are always ready to welcome Club members who wish to enjoy tennis on a weekly basis.  Kick off 10am

Juniors

 

We had a fantastic green and yellow ball friendly with Ennis on Sunday. Thanks to Sinead and the parents that helped out 

 

Well done to our U12 team who got to the semifinals of the premier division of the Junior Munster Winter league narrowly missing out 3/2 to St Annes. Well done to Joe, Sean, Luke, Lelia and Eva

SQUASH

 

Munster Squash Leagues

LLTC is honoured to host the Division 6 Munster final between Killenaule Squash Club (based in Crosscannon, Killenaule, Tipperary) and Highfield Squash Club (located in Woodleigh Park, Model Farm Road, Cork). The final will take place tonight, Thursday, December 12, 2024, at LLTC. All are welcome to come and support the teams.

Entries for the Munster Leagues in Divisions 1, 3, and 5 are now open on SportyHQ. The deadline for submissions is January 5, 2025.

Additionally, a Ladies Munster Squash League will be starting in January, and it would be fantastic if LLTC could enter a team for the first time.

Sunday Social Squash

Social Squash returns this Sunday from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. This session will be a Junior Social Squash event, coinciding with Santa’s arrival at the clubhouse at 4:00 PM.

It’s a great opportunity for our Junior members to connect with each other and compete with other Junior players of all skill levels.

Don’t forget to check the WhatsApp poll on Friday to confirm your attendance.

The Guinness Cup

The Guinness Cup will be our final social competition for 2024. Stay tuned for announcements next week.
