Goodwin Table Tennis Club are pleased to announce that we have received a donation of just over £900 (1200 US Dollars) plus some table tennis equipment and tshirts from the International Table Tennis Federation Foundation and Table Tennis United.
The money is greatly appreciated and and will help towards offsetting some of the losses we have experienced because of the Covid19 pandemic, having to close several times, and again now, because of National lockdowns, and then reduced activities because of restrictions and control measures when we were allowed to open.
The 30 kids table tennis bat's, 288 balls and 30 tt rubbers will be used when we are able to open back up again and restart kids sessions and coaching. The 20 tshirts will be great prizes and give aways when we have a club open day or to promote World Table Tennis Day in April, hopefully we will all be back playing by then.
The photo shows the equipment and tshirts kindly donated. Unfortunately they arrived during lockdown so the club was closed and no members could be present.
