Nine members of Furness Triathlon attended the Windermere Triathlon weekend, organised by Wild Deer Events on 5/6 July 2025. From Novice to Sprint and the Standrad, the Club was very well represented. Some amazing results were obtained by the Elite team (1st and 2nd Place!) with some great runners up. One of the team, not mentioning Kenny's name, was heard to say: " I think I'll train for the next one!"

Paul Quinn, who wasnt at the event as he felt he ought to represent Furness Triathlon somewhere else, had a great swim, average bike and a S*@* run.  Paul will be joining the 'Lets get trained up for the next one' team.

Club Head Coach and Owner, Alan Jackson, said: " I couldn't be prouder to be associated with such a great bunch of people. We are making this an annual event for Furness Triathlon, it's right on our doorstep!"

Stuart Hampson,  a keen Triathlete and carnivore said: "After all that, the icing on the cake was the bacon butties!"  Cheers Kathryn!
